Today, the book Event and protagonists of the modenese engineering world is available in Italian and English, made up of anastatic copy of the volume already published in 1996, now unavailable, but enriched by the latest testimonies that emerged between 1996 and 2017. This book is the story of the family business from its origins to the early’ 70s and is a tribute to Ippolito and Romeo Raimondi, but it is above all the book that collects testimonies of successes, errors, inventions that have accompanied in those years RCM in its evolution.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of RCM we celebrated this long journey with our collaborators and with the international sales network. This book, Event and protagonists of the modenese engineering world (in italian version called La Raimondi Costruzioni Meccaniche), was strongly desired in this moment of reflection and renewal as a document, not to forget the contribution that Ippolito and Romeo gave to the mechanical sector in Emilia and as an instrument, to treasure the path that has made possible the adventure in the field of cleaning machines of the Raimondi family from 1967 onwards.
The book Event and protagonists of the modenese engineering world and the documentary Fifty years in an hour (italian version: documentario Cinquant’anni in un’ora) tell of the evolution of the company first through bicycles, mopeds, marine and industrial engines, tractors of Ippolito and Romeo Raimondi between the end of the nineteenth century and 1967, up to the sweepers, scrubbers and combined cleaning machines that have made RCM known all over the world. The wish that RCM makes to RCM is to be able to seize opportunities, to experiment, to evolve with the same energy that guide us from the end of the 800 to today, from the bicycle to the cleaning machine.
