Sustainable cleaning at no cost. Let’s learn from nature!
John Bell, Head of Global Health at the European Commission, says that a growing number of companies across Europe are seeking solutions to defend the planet from pollution, of the impoverishment of the soil and of the climatic emergency with the use of sustainable natural systems, based on the nature (see Sole 24 Ore of the 26/05/22- Elena Comelli).
RCM is one of the European companies nominated by Bell. RCM has long used ozone (natural gas) to disinfect industrial and commercial soils with a sustainable nature-based system.
If we consider that in more than 10 years of work a single scrubber uses 100,000 to more than 1,000,000 liters of chemical detergents (machine-quantity size mq. Washing-frequency washing) and, while washing, we also disperse in the environment considerable amounts of pollutants for the CO2 gas emitted during the production phases of the detergent itself.
Ozone is a natural gas with a very “rebellious” character: it is willing to help man for free but must be treated with respect, but above all it does not want to be locked in a container like all other chemical disinfectants. Is it perhaps for this reason that it is very “unpleasant” for manufacturers of chemical detergents?
The oxidizing power of ozone is 1.5 times greater than chlorine and 3000 times greater than hypochlorous acid (leaving no residues or by-products). In addition, several studies have shown the antibacterial and antifungal efficacy of ozone as a surface disinfectant, as a disinfectant in food processing environments, both in the hospital and domestic. All references published in international scientific journals from 1998 to 2007.
It is known that also in the domestic sphere, for years, using ozonated water, saves up to 50% of detergent and get clothes perfectly washed and perfumed clean.
