A brush is not just a brush

A cleaning machine can be high standars of quality, but if you choose unsuitable brushes the result could be awful! Just like Formula 1 tyres, you need to choose the ones best suited to your specific situation to get the best performance!

Sinner’s Circle reminds us of how important mechanical action is to remove dirt in the best possible way, as well as temperature, chemical action and contact time. This is why the brushes are a fundamental part: they directly influence the effectiveness of the mechanical action and the  cleanliness achieved.

The perfect… brush!

The brush is essential: it must be checked visually periodically and in some cases also washed (it is advisable for the brushes of the scrubbers).

Brushes are the part of the machine that cleans in direct contact with dirt, so it is important that they are always perfect and ready to effectively clean floors.

HOW TO MAINTAIN AN EFFICIENT BRUSH:

1.
In roller brushes, take care not to pick up ropes, strapping or anything that could wrap around the brush, damaging it or making it unusable.

2.
Replacing the brushes at the right time guarantees an excellent cleaning result. On some brushes there is a consumption indicator that makes it easy to check at any time.

What does a brush look like?

All brushes have a support (called body, or even stem) composed of many seats: in these areas are fixed several tufts of bristles. The supports can be made up of:

  • plastic material (sweepers and scrubbers)
  • Cardboard
  • wood (only sweepers).

Of course, the plastic drum is the one that guarantees greater reliability because it does not deform even if it is wet.

As the bristle wears down, it gets closer to the support and more rigid the bristle becomes and loses the flexibility to pick up or remove dirt. That’s why it’s importansupporto casat to replace them at the right time!

BRUSHES FOR SCRUBBERS

The roller brushes are used with the scrubbers and are used not only to remove dirt but also to remove it by loading it into the container.

Disc brushes are used for washing and have a more effective action in removing adherent dirt than rollers, because of their structure, the bristles can withstand greater pressure by transferring it to the ground.
